EPISODE REVIEW: Generator Rex: “Beyond the Sea” (Season 1, Episode 3)

After the standard voice-over introduction (Different every week, but covering the same ground), Rex hears tell of an increase in Evo activity in the northern equatorial regions. Upon learning of a spring break paradise called “Cabo Luna” (My Spanish is rusty, but I think that means “Moon Taxi”), he and Bobo run away for a vacation, and take Noah along, still not realizing that he’s actually one of Rex’s handlers.

EPISODE REVIEW: Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: “Hit ‘Em Where They Live” (Season 1, Episode 3)

Six Six (Or possibly Seven Seven, I can never tell them apart) tries to shoot Ben’s annoying hippie mother, but Grandpa Max saves her, chasing the guy off, though injuring himself in the process.

EPISODE REVIEW: Stargate Universe: “Sabotage” (Season 1, Episode 16)

You know, I find it funny how my predictions for this show are consistently wrong. I mean, seriously, not to toot my own horn, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I have watched *A LOT* of TV, and it’s hard to come up with something I haven’t seen a million times, yet they still manage to surprise me. I think it’s not so much that I’m seeing things I haven’t seen, but they’re spinning and combining them in new and original ways.
Which, of course, is what makes this show so increasingly good.

B-MOVIE REVIEW: Crossworlds (1996)

While sitting around in incessant boredom, I decided to click the view all button on the sci-fi suggested movies on my netflix account. I ran across this little film which in my current state of boredom, I found to be highly entertaining. Despite no real defined plot and the repetitiveness of the find it, lose it, find it again mentality, this was actually a flick that got me through an evening of painful boredom.

Episode Review:FlashForward: "Course Correction" (Season 1, Episode19)

Tonight, Flashforward maintains it's streak of good episodes.
Yeah, I had a hard time believing it, too.
Read on... seriously. This episode was not only action-y, it was philosophical. Kind of like Action Philosophers, but not really.
Read On!

Episode Review: V – Hearts And Minds (Season 1, Episode 10)

I think we are quick coming up on the end of the season and based on what I am picking up on the other Geek sites longevity isn’t looking very likely for this show which kinda conflicts me. On the one hand the show sucks and I hate reviewing it. On the second hand, the premise is golden and if only they had worked up a real vision for what they wanted to accomplish… Meh. No crying over spilt milk as the saying goes.

REALSPACE: Constellation escape test Plus a Shuttle update

Why is NASA testing the escape rocket for the Constellation capsule if the program has been terminated? The test cost 220 million is there no mechanism for NASA to reprogram funds the DoD does it all the time. Now it might be just that most of the money was spent and the test was scheduled so they did it but it seems strange for NASA to do this it just causes political problems.

RETROSPECULATIVE TV: Man From Atlantis: “Deadly Carnival” (Season 2, Episode 13) Series Finale

Tuesday, June 6th, 1978: Not a massively infamous day in history. Not much happened. In California - which was part of the United States in those days - they voted in Proposition 13, which slashed property taxes. Nothing else of any great importance seems to have happened anywhere else in the world, and few seem to have noticed the important thing that transpired here.

Episode Review: V – Heretic's Fork (Season 1, Episode 9)

Hey, how about this? I am only a week late with this recap. And I actually feel kinda bad for being slow on this one, because it seems like the producer’s are finally starting to get a sense of balance to what they have going on. Anyway, let’s deal with that in a bit, first let’s share what the all seeing Comcast has to say for this week’s episode: “Chad deals with his aneurysm on the mother ship; Ryan confesses to Val that he is a visitor; Erica, Father Jack and Hobbes try to protect the Fifth Column.”
And now more, after the jump…
