Tolerance?? Really??
Submitted by mad bikini blogger on Sat, 08/14/2010 - 20:11President 0̸bama (I think I just threw up in my mouth a little... ugh... I hate referring to this poser as President... but that's a blog for another day...) stuck his foot in up to his knee over New York City's decision to help fund the building of an "Islamic Center" 3 blocks away from Ground Zero. He actually cited the Constitution... the 1st Amendment, specifically, saying that our founders set this country up so that all religions can practice freely and the Islamic center should be built on those grounds.
Who's Profiling Who??
Submitted by mad bikini blogger on Tue, 05/11/2010 - 14:00The "new" Arizona ILLEGAL Immigration law is being called an open invitation to profile latinos. Well, let me tell ya...
The new law the passed is superfluous because all it is doing is enforcing existing federal law! This law is making the law enforcement community of Arizona do what it already should have been doing! This reminds me of a joke... how many times do you have to pass a law before it is enforced? Well, maybe not a joke joke... but ... you get the point, I think...
The Logical Fallacy of Being an "Eco-Freak"
Submitted by mad bikini blogger on Thu, 04/22/2010 - 11:25How many of you out there are celebrating "Earth Day" today? Me?? No way. I don't buy into all the environmentalism or really any other "ism", except Capitalism...
Earth Day is a sham. If you truly care about your environment, (and by environment, I mean the area that surrounds you) you should do things on a daily basis to take care of it. It's not something that a normal person need to have their awareness raised about. It's simple: You see trash, you pick it up. You see a flower or a tree in need of watering, you take care of it.
The Return of the Mad Bikini Blogger
Submitted by mad bikini blogger on Mon, 03/15/2010 - 19:23I've returned from my hiatus just to spout off about this government takeover of 1/6th of the United States... nay... the World's economy.
Ted's Dead
Submitted by Sam White on Fri, 08/28/2009 - 10:34Some people in the media seem surprised that the Pope hasn’t jumped at the chance to offer some sort of statement on the passing of Edward “Ted” Kennedy.
Why would he? Ted Kennedy devoted his public life to trying to destroy the Catholic church. So the Pope can either be hypocritical and offer words of condolence or tell the truth and offer a statement of condemnation.
Republic Reboot III -- or "Some Possible Pitfalls of Secession"
Submitted by Sam White on Thu, 04/16/2009 - 11:06All right, I’m going to go ahead and admit that secession wouldn’t be all peaches and cream. That would be if Georgia seceded. In Texas, it would be pecan pie and Dr Pepper.
Just kidding. A decision like secession would obviously bring up some big questions which I, personally, don’t have the answers for. Still, I’d like to ask them in case someone else does. So, in no particular order:
Republic Reboot II -- or "Texas Should Secede Now!"
Submitted by Sam White on Thu, 04/09/2009 - 09:27“You must remember, my friend, that if we leave the governing to others, then others will govern, and possibly not as we would like. In a country such as this, none of us is free of responsibility.” --Louis L’Amour
The question of whether or not to secede is, obviously, not an easy one. Perhaps it’s like the decision a patient and her surgeon must make. If the cancerous breast is kept, there’s a 10% chance the cancer can be beaten back and the patient will live a long, happy life; if the breast is removed, however, there’s a 60% chance the patient will live that long life.

So says the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
Smart Rubber Promises Self-Mending Products
Submitted by Ian Sutherland on Wed, 02/20/2008 - 18:43Smart Rubber Promises Self-Mending Products - An anonymous reader writes "French scientists have developed a new rubber that can heal itself after being cut or broken. If two broken ends of the material are pushed together, and left for an hour, they join to become just as stretchy as before. There is even a video of the supposed creation in action.
